Norman Regional Health System and OU Health join to provide high-quality, research-driven cancer care

NORMAN, Okla. – Indianapolis-based Bremner Healthcare Real Estate celebrated a new state-of-the-art cancer center it has developed. The OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center at Norman Regional will serve patients from Norman Regional Health System and OU Health. The partnership is a powerful step toward enhancing healthcare services for patients in Norman and across southern Oklahoma.

“We are proud to continue our strong partnership with Norman Regional and OU Health through the development of this amazing facility,” said Kevin Knue, Senior Vice President and Partner at Bremner. “The OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center represents a shared commitment to delivering world-class cancer care close to home in the most comfortable environment possible.  We are honored to contribute to a project that will make a lasting impact on patients and families throughout the state of Oklahoma.”

The OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center at Norman Regional is located at Norman Regional Health’s flagship hospital campus at the southwest corner of I-35 and Tecumseh Road. The 48,000-square-foot building will combine a full spectrum of medical oncology and radiation oncology services under one roof. Project highlights include an enclosed walkway to the main hospital bed tower and ambulatory care center, two linear accelerators to provide targeted and precise radiation therapy treatment, PET, CT and CT Simulator, 24 infusion bays for medical oncology treatment, exam rooms and physician offices.

This marks Bremner’s fourth major project with Norman Regional Health, and first with OU Health. In June 2024, Bremner completed a 135,000-square-foot ambulatory care center and a 750-car attached parking garage. In late 2022, Bremner completed Norman Regional Nine, a 47,000-square-foot free-standing emergency department that replaced an aging hospital.
